Fees

Please contact us for more information about our fees as they vary depending on the type and length of consultation.

Standard appointments are typically 50 minutes long. Initial appointments are approximately 1.5 hours long, during which time your psychologist will obtain detailed information about you and your needs.

Fees and appointment lengths may differ for other services such as educational and intellectual assessments, neuropsychological assessments, psycholegal assessments, and report-writing. Please contact us for more information about these services.

Fees can be paid by cash, EFTPOS, or credit card at the end of each appointment. We offer on-site processing of Medicare rebates.

Rebates

Medicare

Medicare rebates are available for up to 10 sessions of psychological treatment per calendar year. You will need to obtain a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP or be referred directly by your Psychiatrist or Paediatrician to access the rebate, which currently stands at $124.50 per standard session.

Private Health Funds

Many private health funds provide rebates for psychological services depending upon your level of cover. Please contact your health fund to determine your exact coverage.

Please note that you cannot claim from both Medicare and your health fund for the same consultation session.

Please note that our practice policy requires at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel your scheduled appointment. Cancellations within 24 hours or non-attendance will incur a charge of 50% of the consultation fee. This is necessary because we have reserved this time for you and we cannot fill it at short notice. Thank you for your understanding.
